Automatic site blocking when you hit your daily cap.

SiteLimit tracks time spent on every website in the background and redirects the tab the moment you exceed your limit. No reminders. No willpower required.

What it does

Precise, automatic, and entirely local.

Live time tracking
Every website gets its own timer. SiteLimit runs silently in the background, logging seconds to each hostname as you browse. No setup required beyond installing the extension.
Per-site daily limits
Assign a daily time cap to any site. The counter runs against it automatically — you don't start or stop anything. Just set it and forget it.
Automatic blocking
When your limit is reached, the active tab redirects to a block page. The site stays blocked until midnight, when all usage counters reset.
Fully local — no account
All data is stored in Chrome's local storage on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. No account, no sign-up, no tracking of any kind.

How it works

Running in three steps.

STEP 01

Install from the Chrome Web Store

One click. No account, no email, no permissions beyond what it needs to function.

STEP 02

Set a daily limit for any site

Click the SiteLimit icon in your toolbar. Choose a site from your history and enter a daily time cap.

STEP 03

SiteLimit enforces it automatically

Time is tracked in the background. When you hit your cap, the tab locks. No intervention needed on your end.
